Any chances AT&T gets an LTE version of the galaxy nexus? I hope so, seeing as they just launched their first two LTE phones this week. I'll still get it whenever the chance comes, LTE or not.

Could be a BIG maybe, they are in fact dropping 2 LTE phones today...which is laughable because they're LTE footprint is tiny...but u never now, it would Future proof then for a bit, and that's always a good thing.

I'd say that would be a deciding factor, had they not just launched two LTE phones today.

Actually they had 5 and they just added 5 more today but I still don't think an at&t LTE Galaxy Nexus launches for them.

AT&T's 4G LTE coverage is very limited in comparison to Verizon's. You probably end up turning off the 4G most of the time and use only 3G.

Furthermore, it is going to be a long shot for the Galaxy Nexus to land on AT&T. Definitely not in the next 12 months.

What makes you say that? An at&t compatible model already cleared the fcc. Whether its sold on at&t or not, a compatible model will be available after verizons exclusivity period ends.

Yeah I disagree with that as well. Maybe not for 12 weeks, but definitely not 12 months. I would say by the end of the year/early next year AT&T will have theirs out.

Yeah I'm not sure if it will be an LTE version, but he was thinking it would be doubtful for the Galaxy Nexus to come to AT&T at all. I'm pretty sure it will come within a year, or at least I hope so.

I'm about 80% sure Att's LTE network is on a different frequency (VZW uses 700)

So the VZW LTE GN won't work with att's LTE

Everyone "+1" the 4th comment down (AT&T's comment). They closed/locked the post from new comments (which are ALL requests for the GN), so we can only +1. I hope they get an LTE version. Everyone send them a message/post with them tagged requesting not only a GN but an LTE GN... They might listen...

AT&T uses several frequencies for LTE : 700 Mhz Class 17, 1700/2100 MHz

The European version of the Galaxy Nexus already works on AT&T's AND T-Mobile's HSPA+
