Battery usage monitor.....explanation please!

Hi all.

Just a quickie!

The battery usage monitor/graph (menu>settings>about phone>battery usage) shows a graph with a horizontal & vertical axis.

The vertical states time on battery (in my case 2h 10m 5s at present)

What does the time on the horizontal axis represent? (in my case 1h 47m 19s)

Sometimes these times are the same, at other times, they are a couple of minutes different or 25minutes or so like the above example.


I am confused!

Any ideas?

As far as I'm aware, the time at the bottom is the time since it was not on 100%
Dont ask my why, but this appears to be the case. Perhaps this is because when charging and reaches 100%, it needs an extra half hour to get to true 100%, so there is a slight discrepancy between reported 100% and actual 100%.

So it seems with your current figures, it was unplugged at 100% and stayed at 100% for 25 minutes

Horizontal axis is time and the vertical axis is the battery level. Note that you can get a full screen of this, with some other info, by pressing on the graph....
