I have heard of some cleaners and wipes and eyeglass cleaner, but what is the absolute best? When i went to walmart they had eyeglass cleaner with alcohol in it. is that the right one? Thanks

I just use a microfiber cloth to clean my screen, you can get them from an eyeglasses store. If you are absolutely set on using a spray, try a HDTV cleaning solution (anyplace that sells TVs will probably stock it)

I use the eye glasses cleaner for the screen and I have had beautiful success. Now, I also use a clorox wipe on the rest of the phone at least every evening. What a gathering place for yucky germs and grime and such. . . I hope you guys are wiping down the rest of your beauts with some type of anitbacerial agent. . .

Its just a piece of glass. Anything will clean it. You're putting forth way too much effort and money into cleaning it. Go to the kitchen, spray windex or other glass cleaner on it, wipe it off with a paper towel. Done. Free.

^yeah I wouldn't do that. but that's me. I have scratched enough glass using the above method to know better though.

If you want the best cleaner for cheap at wal-mart go to the photo section and get a box of Zeiss wipes. There are 50 in individual packets for about $3. We use them to clean the lenses and optics on $300,000 surgical microscopes where a scratch means thousands of dollars to replace. I use them on my screens as well as sunglasses and anything else that gets smudged. You may need to buff a bit after as the cleaner can leave a little film but a quick wipe on my shirt or a microfiber towel and it shines like new.

Plexus plastic polish and nothing else. Get it at any Honda ATV dealer. It polishes pretty much any kind of plastic and also adds that nice film to keep prints off for a while.

Go to the cleaning section at Walmart ( where they have the brooms , mops and cleaning brushes) they sell different kind of microfiber cloths there, grab the blue one specific for LCD screens ( you will notice the difference in texture). That what I use on everything glass related. Screens , glasses, LCD... This is the best microfiber cloth for glass products ever. It cost like $2.

Don't go to the electronics section and grab the fancy wet wipes or anything from there, it will just be overpriced junk. I would post a pic , but I threw away the packaging...

Please explain how glass cleaner and a paper towel is scratching the plate of glass. I suspect there was much more to it than that.

Except this isn't plastic. It's glass.
