Randomly searching on Indiegogo, I found this on the front page. I am a fan of cycling, always ride my bike, no matter where I go and now, their making a movie on it. Kinda interesting and wanna see the end results in theaters when it comes out.

    I know!! I want one!

I don't think it would be too hard to build one:rolleyes:...then again...maybe just a rickshaw with a keg would do the trick:p:smokingsomb:

Changing or patching an inner tube is very easy.
How to Change a Bike Inner Tube | eHow

...with a bit of practise it should take you no more than 10 minutes.

I know about rickshaws, should have seen the poor dude in Beijing with five people on-board. ...and it wasn't an electric or gasoline rickshaw, he was pedalling the thing.

Back when I was riding, I used self-healing bike inner tubes... couldn't imagine riding without them, even if they do add a tiny bit of rolling weight.

They're filled with a bit of 'slime' (that's what they call it). When you get a little hole in your tire, the slime, floating around the wall of the inner tube due to centrifugal force, tries to escape through the hole. Then it gets stuck in the tire, dries and seals the hole. It sounds impossible but it really works, unless you get a massive puncture. When I was riding, I could go for over year without having to do anything but top off the air every few weeks.

If I ever start riding again, I'll get those before I get the bike.

I think today is a good day for a 6 mile bike ride. What do you think?

Come home and get started on my homework.

uploadfromtaptalk1398453665195.jpg I found a really cool app that tracks my distance speed and a bunch of other things. I like this app. Here's my ride for today.
And this is the brand he suggest. Ya... No. [IMG]

[IMG]So I found the world record for cycling around the world. It was like 92 days. That's just wow.

    225 miles a day is a feat.

    Edit:

Got my new Inner Tube for my mountain bike. Easy to change it. At first I thought it wouldn't fit too big, but it fit just fine. [IMG]

    Edit:

Went for a ride today. Lesson learned. NEVER wear Apple headphones and ride at the sane time. My Moto G flew out of my pocket twice because wired headphones just fall out. Luckily my screen is fine on my Moto G but the edges are getting pretty dented. The screen is all that matters.

Chinese manufacturer. But then China has been making bicycles for quite sometime now. :D Don't know about that particular bike though, looks like an extremely expensive track bike, for use in velodrome rather than the city streets or wherever you normally ride. Is that what you're after?

No I wouldn't go for something that expensive. Nonono.
I just think that one is cool. I'm more interested into something like this. [IMG]

I want something that is faster than my mountain bike, and is good on the road.

Not a track bike, but a moderately expensive club/training road bike. Track bikes are very simple with no brakes and fixed gears, no derailleurs. The reason it's a club bike? In the racing world (where I used to reside) when you're not a sponsored rider, your racing ride is usually moderately priced and easily reparable. Crashes happen...a lot! Your club/training ride might be sweet (and expensive) but you would never risk it in sprint finish. I broke 2 frames in one weekend once. Crashed out mid race on Saturday when a exhausted and lapped cat5 guy ran into my rear derailleur and ripped off the drop out. Bought a new frame (Cannondale) that evening, swapped out the parts and raced on Sunday. Got caught up in a big final sprint crash and cracked the head tube. Expensive weekend! The pro's are sponsored and don't pay for their bikes, so they race the really high end stuff. Both on the track and the road

Was, in a past life. Cat4, then Masters...then kids and a bad back got me off my bike. Keep trying unsuccessfully to get back on. Maybe this Spring!

Ya go for it. You don't have to ride too hard but something to do for fun.

I hope to ride a trip of 52 miles sometime this summer.

    Little steps at a time.
