Yes it is a Streamer via a HDMI connection. But the controls have to come from another device such as PC, Tablet, Smartphone, and they must be on the same WiFi network for you to control the Chromecast device.
As you can see the downside is that if you can't get the device to see your Chromecast, you have no way of controlling it. I'm sure more features are in the pipeline as Google is soon to release the SDK.

If you guys get get a radio log while trying to send a mms then maybe I can figure out what's wrong.

Were you able to install the app from the Playstore OK??
Chromecast can be finicky sometimes.... I haven't tried it yet, but will soon as I flash the ROM.

Yea the app installs fine, just cant detect the actual Chromecast

Running slick and super smooth! Besides the last couple issues in the OP so far I'm only having problems getting the settings to stick for min and max processor speed, gov and scheduler... But that could just be me. I'll keep playing with it. I just ordered a mic so I can fix my Warp. Once it comes in I'll activate and test everything else... Great job guys!

You need to flash the gapps package after flashing the ROM. You can download gapps in the op.

Definitely cannot get performance settings to stick through a reboot... They work, just have to set up again after rebooting. No fc or random reboots so far. No google issues.

This is definitely this smoothest jb ROM out now ..I know theres been so much work into the others ,I can't wait for root box to have its small issues fixed but I'm loving aokp its has given me no issues besides using set CPU to hold oc settings but no prob with that ..thanks guys

flashlight hd led works u have to go to the setting and select use rooted method and also change tooted flashlight to flashlight works on all aokp roms

Not a huge issue but I noticed that bluetooth audio playback doesn't seem to work.. Bluetooth calling works great but I can't listen to music

I tried with Motorola bluetooth headphones and a bluetooth earpiece and both the music still comes through the phone speakers

Use the app called getlogs in the op and try playing music with the bluetooth headsets and then open getlogs and choose pastebin and give me the link.
