Help Bored with old inc layout, help me?

so im super bored with the stock inc layout, i heard of sweet homa and open home and luancher pro, im looking to see what program is best and at what price, whats better then the others and so on

Both the good ones, ADW and Launcher pro are free.. There are several topics on this, as well as a sticky showing examples of what people are doing with them.

I tried Launcher Pro but didn't really like that I went from 7 home screens to 3. I'll stick with the stock.

With LPro you can have any number of home screens 2-7

I find the stock 7 themes useless because you can't save changes to the stock theme when you move to another theme...you have to save a custom theme which just adds to the number. I wish HTC would have allowed us to use their 7 themes as a baseline or start point but allowed us to change them...I just customized two (day & night) and don't use the others because I can't save the modifications.

Did not know that. I thought it was funny that it would only do just the 3 home screens. I played around with it some and couldn't find that setting. Guess I'll have to give it another shot.

yes, and if you have time skim all posts, besides the screen shots there will be info on how to make icon changes and widget suggestions.
some of the changes require additional apps
