Can Celeron (not Core) run Android Studio

I'm not a dev, but I believe Android Studio requires Intel VT(Virtualization Technology) to run.
The Intel page only discusses Core series processors having it.

I know Celeron was always a cut-down processor for budget PCs. And if this particular laptop supports Intel VT or not, I don't know.

The system requirements indicate a minimum of "2nd generation Intel Core or newer". So no, I don't think it will work with a Celeron processor.

Here's the spec sheet for the CPU. My advice, don't get this laptop for Android Studio. You can get a used or refurbished laptop with much better specs at a comparable price.

You need to be sure that whatever system you buy, the cpu must have "VT-x" and "VT-d" or "AMD-v" for AMD cpus which are for virtualization.

Also note, virtualization is only needed if your gonna use the android emulator in Android Studio. If your testing apps on physical devices then you can do without it.
