Help Can this really be happening on just my incredible?

I have 120 contacts imported from a file backed up from my last phone. Imported them to Gmail and synced to my incredible. I go to

This is happening to me too. I will go look for a person to text and they have been deleted, seemingly at random! Nowhere to be found on my phone, OR in my gmail contacts. If I didn't have my old phone I'd have been screwed. This is a very annoying problem with an otherwise awesome phone!

I think it might. I am using Skype and I started to notices a pattern that I only seem to lose a contact after I log off Skype but not all the time. I have been doing this for about 5 days now maybe you can do it to. Before you log off Skype check the number of contacts in People
