They asked if it was out for the original moto g which is where this thread is posted....what's that got to do with marshmallow? Android 6 is only in developer preview for what 3 nexus devices now? I don't see how saying 6.0 is here is relevant in any way to the post or question asked.

Marshmallow doesn't have any thing to do with the question just letting ppl know its almost here any yea the moto g 5.1 has been out for that particular device for 8 months

For the boost moto g? No it hasn't. It hasn't been officially released yet at all. It also hasn't been officially available for the other versions of the moto g for anywhere close to 8 months. Google didn't release 5.1 until March so its only 6 months old to begin with. The g started getting official 5.1 updates about a month ago and some haven't even gotten the update yet. Such as the boost version.

My warp seems pretty official 100 % works a lot better then that crap google pushes out any phone I land on will have 5.1 these devs do better work then google any ways

That's great for your warp. Again is irrelevant to the question asked or the thread you posted it on. Noone asked how the custom roms for the zte warp perform.

Well I couldn't use CM 12.1 because it wouldn't let me tap the next button to setup my google account.

edit: I flashed 5.1 again and now the home button doesn't work, wtf. If I hold it it'll bring up the google search but a tap won't take me to the home screen.

edit2: Nevermind I'm an idiot, I don't think I had anything in the field so next wouldn't work. Had the same issue on 5.1. Also reflashed 5.1 and now the home button works.

edit3: Nevermind. I updated some apps, rebooted and now the home button won't work again.

edit4: Now I locked and unlocked the screen and the home button works again.

Though I'd recommend a new way of getting it. If youre still using a warp 4g which was a cheap phone when it came out 2 years ago obviously not banking that much paper. I'm out.

For the cm issue it did that to me a few times before if I remember if I just restarted it and hit skip and added my Google info later it worked. The other issue sounds like a bad download a dirty flash or a kernel issue. I had the home button problem when I used the attack kernel sometimes which sucked because besides that I liked the kernel.

That would only work with an official firmware update. But, you should be able to flash the 5.1 soak ROM over 5.0.2 stock and not lose your data.

I have not tested the partition updater because I took the update so my partitions are already updated. I do not know if this rom will work without updating the partitions so please try and let us know. I must say, this update is VERY nice

As I'm on a stock locked bootloader/recovery, I was hoping that the Part 1 Soak (unmodified) will install cleanly to the 5.0.2 Soak I have (Stock installed from 4.4.4 stock). I would try it, but the thread doesn't appear to contain a link to the unmodified 5.1 Part 1 (only part 2).

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance (as since I'm on stock 5.0.2 with a locked bootloader on an xt1031, I can't seem to go down, up, or sideways, there seems to be nothing I can do).
