Root [CDMA] [ROM] 12/30/11 - CleanROM 3.0 Preview 1 Now Available

HTC Reader is an optional addon. To add it in, open the app "ROM Updater", go to Addons/Themes, follow the instructions to set up ROM Updater (if you haven't already. Instructions are provided here.). Make sure to refresh to show all options. HTC Reader is the very last option.

Click download, and when it completes, tap 'Apply Later'. If you try to install it, ROM Updater will crash, as that feature is not currently working. Then reboot into recovery and install the zip file that's in /sdcard/cleanrom.
 
We haven't seen you much around lately, you should also give the Xplod Rom we have been testing for a few weeks, I think you will like it.

You should see me around a lot more now that the holidays are over and I'm finally about caught up at work. Glad to know someone missed me! ;) I've been reading about the Xplod Rom and since I have a nand backup to go back to if necessary I will probably give it a try. Great to be back and modding and posting :)
 
Yep it sure it, and yes we missed having you around, hope you and you hubby had a great holiday season. I think you will like that ROM let me know what you think, keep in mind it is a little different, but with time you will like it even more, my only grip is on new releases it does a full wipe so you have to set the phone up from scratch every time, I asked the Dev if he could do nightly releases instead, mind you I am pretty quick at setting the whole phone up, but would definitely same some time.

I know what you mean about it being a pain to set everything up from scratch but I do that every time I flash any ROM. May be unnecessary in all cases but I have found that by doing that things go a lot smoother. Depending on how this afternoon's games go I may give it a try this afternoon. Tomorrow night, of course, is reserved for the viewing of the National Championship game. Roll Tide! :D

I just loaded the rom yesterday, the hotspot was working. This morning, I get an error: your account does not include Hotspot/usb tethering service. Please contact Sprint to enroll.
 
Yep I heard about it, pretty impressive, we will get it in due time, look at it this way, by the time we get it the bugs will all be ironed out. :D

So that's why the 3D's CleanROM hasn't been updated in over a month :p

I'm not complaining, though. I like CleanROM DE 2.0, it's the best ROM for my needs :)
