I like the way this forum handles links, if I paste a url and the target page has been titled properly, rather than displaying the url, the title of the page is displayed. For example -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ is displayed as BBC - Homepage.
However, when certain characters are put into the title of the page, it throws that all to pot. For example -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-13626587 should be displayed as Quantum mechanics rule 'bent' in classic experiment
However, because of the ' prefixing and suffixing bent, it is instead displayed as: BBC News - Quantum mechanics rule 'bent' in classic experiment.
I suspect ' is the html code for ' ?
I could probably get more examples if need be, as ' doesn't seem to be the only character that causes issues.
Is there any easy fix for this? It's not a major issue, but it does make things look nice and tidy. I know it can be avoided by manually typing in the page title, and using the url tags, but that just means more typing.
