Hi all, on my LG G2, all imported songs have a Chinese First Character of album, song and artist in the android music app.

All other chars are in english ( they are all english spoken songs).

    Anyone else experience this?

Yes! This is a new problem on my LG G2. The bullet points of certain emails have been replaced by Chinese characters. Also the graphics of certain websites using the stock (Bell Canada) browser have been replaced with Chinese characters. However the same website using Chrome will display correctly with no Chinese characters. Not sure if this coincided with the latest LG update.

Yeah. I had already tried that. Latin-1 (ISO-8859-1) & Unicode (UTF-8). Only other options would be Chinese, Japanese or Korean. Plus the phone was working fine originally. Something changed but can't pinpoint what. I suspect it was an update of some sort.

funny. I'probably report it to LG. on vzw, the default browser was chrome if I'm not mistaken. I replaced with Firefox... try downloading and set the encoding to western, and see if you experience the same issue... something to try...

Thanks stef7. I'll report it. I'm less concerned about the browser since the Chrome is working fine. The fact that it affects my email as well as the graphics from the original thread poster means that it's a bigger issue.

It's not specific to the update - the problem was apparent on the music app from before the update.
