Root cm7 video trouble, help please

After flashing cm7 my videos don't play nor do any stream, I have audio but only a single image unless I slide the thing on te video then it foes to another single image. Luke frame rate or something. Any advice? I even for new media players and the pribles is still there
 
You gotta have Flash in order to stream most videos . If you are trying to access Youtube via the browser , try using Dolphin and installing Flash .

As for the YouTube app , dunno since I never use it . I always watch them straight from the Dolphin browser . ;)
 
Ive also had trouble with video streaming with cm7... not with flash (netflix works fine).. but directly through streams from sites.. there seems to be a pausing in video at higher qualities...
 
I know I'm not crazy now. I don't think there is a fix for this problem. Videos do not work in HQ, only sound, and videos don't play well in MX. I might try Mobo. I like the YouTube app. It is much easier and faster to navigate. I saw other forums where people had these same problems on XDA. They were saying to disable Stagefright (whatever that is) in build.prop and YouTube would stream better in HQ. Even though this is more luxury than the more important functions in CM7, these problems are the only reason I choose to use CTMod since the YouTube app and videos work perfect on it, as I get better signal and quicker data speed with CM7.
 
My only problem is I already bought MX. Not a big fan of wasting money. I wish there was a longer refund time than 15 minutes. I think I will try Dolphin and flash, just to see if I did something wrong. Since some people have these problems and some do not.
 
Ok thanks alit guys that moving player did thetrck and ill thank all of u ad soon as i get home. But I have one last question. I've never had a decent signal its always Been poor. But after flashing cm7 I barley can talk on the phone. Is it the Tom or something with boost/sprint? I have a signal booster in the phone as well any way I can get a better signal??
 
As far as my experience goes, CM7 gives me a better signal. I get -65dBm with CM7, in my house, compared to -76dBm with CTMod. The only time I got bad signal with either was when I flashed FA19. I never used a signal booster.

I noticed the same thing when I switched from CTMod to CM7 .
This was even before the FA19 update came out too .
 
Videos playd from sd have sound but video basicly chopps then frezes. Class 10 sd and flash player, also tried different players

Ive looked but i just cant fined a fix for video chop on this rom. If im missin somthing some1 point me in the right direction. Ive never had a prob with youtube, but on board vids, recorded vids, or vids played of internet with a player chop bad. Yes i have flash and it works but i want the other methods to work as well
 
Did a few tweaks here and there. Internet vid is smooth, on doard aint to bad but still chops. Guess I shouldn't complain, CM7 is a great rom.
