Computer hardware and networking tech branches out

I have been involved with computers since 1986 (when I was 6) and have been tearing them apart ever since. I was trained in networking by Cisco. I am a volunteer forum Adviser at bleepingcomputer specializing in hardware troubleshooting and Networking.I have been a member since 2007 and have published a tutorial. I am not "in" the industry because I haven't taken any certifications or graduated college as of yet. I branched out to mobile devices with a Palm IIc and have more recently begun with Android starting in a Droid X and now a HTC thunderbolt.
