I've been reading around because my emails weren't sending in Gmail at all, or the person who I sent it to would get it a day later. Now, I use Juicedefender to save battery on my phone thinking this might be the cause of the problem, because I also never get a notification when an email arrives.
For those not familiar with JD, it cuts off 3G and WiFi while the screen is off to save on battery, but "claims" to sync background data for what I have set (1 minute every hour)
I cleared the cache and they seem to send right away now, but I still don't get the notification. Anybody have an idea?
