Droid RAZR users receiving Soak Test invitations, not ICS

Earlier this month we told you how Motorola had begun rolling out a Soak Test for their Xoom tablet PC, which allowed users to test the ] Ice Cream Sandwich software. This was ahead of the launch for everyone else a few days later. Now we have news that Droid RAZR users have been receiving Soak Test invitations, but it is not thought to be for ICS though.
Owners of the handset that may have signed up to take part in Motorola’s Feedback Network have been receiving the invites according to an article on Phandroid. The ones that accept the invites will be beginning the tests blindly about what the tests will be on.

Obviously there has been plenty who have wondered if it was for Android Ice Cream Sandwich, or other bug fixes. But it those seem like the tests will be for the previously leaked Android 2.3.6 update for the device. This was leaked while the CES 2012 event was taking place in Las Vegas, and is thought to fix a number of issues.

These include problems that some users have been experiencing with the 4G connectivity with the Droid RAZR. Owners that have already uploaded the software have said it others a much better 4G connection, and better than any other 4G handsets they have owned before.

The 6.12.173 update also provides some small graphical changes to Blur along with some new bloatware.
