I've had the iPhone 3g for two years now and my AT&T contract ends on 7/11. I practically live on the road and will be switching to Verizon mainly because the other guys in the van have vzn and it's clear that vzn service is better. That said, i really want an android phone. I've made apps for iPhone but their native language and upload process are not things I want to deal with anymore. As for what I want in a phone, obviously I want a really nice screen, replaceable batteries, tethering (only need to tether to one device really), high processor speed and lots of storage. A front facing camera would be sweet but it's not a dealbreaker. I thought originally I'd be getting the N1. Then did research and craved the Droid 1, then did research and craved the incredible, then did research and craved the Droid X. But now I read about the X having a somewhat low-resolution screen and no FFC and I'm slightly dismayed. Do you all think I should just bite the bullet and get it or wait till the next phone comes along? I'm prepared for a little flaming here but I know you guys might have some better lowdown on what's coming down the road as far as android phones are concerned and I would really appreciate your opinions... Thanks in advance!
