Help Edited photos

Hi my new lg g4 used to save Edited pictures in a folder in photos. Now it says the picture is saved but i cannot locate the edited and saved picture on my phone. Please help. Thank you

What app are you using to do the editing? Have you checked its settings to see where it is saving to?

I'm using the gallery app installed on the phone. There are no settings for saved pictures. It used to save in an album called pictures in the gallery app. I didn't change anything but now i edit and save pictures, it says it's saved but i can't access them anywhere

Have you looked with a file browser rather than the gallery app? The possibilities seem to be that it's not really saving them or the gallery app isn't able to show files from where it is saving them. The latter would be possible if there was a .nomedia file in the folder it was saving to - which would be incredibly stupid, but could produce this result.

Can you still see images you had previously edited? If so that would seem to preclude the edited images being stored in the same directory.
