So I got bored and decided to try out just the EK02 modem on my EG30 ROM on Android 2.3.4 and attached a picture of the results. I did a comparison between the two modems using speedtest with the same server.
It's fairly close, the EK02 was a bit faster on 3G overall but EG30 was a tad faster with 4G downloads (uploads were nearly identical). I know results will vary from location to location and even from phone to phone. I figure I share since I'm that bored
