Eris Google Navigation Dock - NO GO

While searching how to operate the Google Navigation Beta, I was wondering how to get the Eris to go into dock mode. Well it seems there needs to be some type of magnetic sensor, and 2.0+ OS. I'm running 2.1 V2 leak and tried multiple magnets to see if this would work, no I can not get it to work. So I'm thinking we don't have the hardware installed to make this work.

We wont know until its official. Why would they release details of it if its not even been released yet? Be patient. You could be right or you could be wrong and the Eris has some other way cool way to get to this mode.
