Help Error Code 18 When Updating Apps

I'm getting an Error Code 18 on apps I'm trying to update if the apps are installed on the SD Card. If I move the apps to the phone and try the update it runs fine. Then I move them back to the SD Card.

This started happening only after I wiped the phone, it didn't do it before.

I'm running stock 2.2.2 FRG83G.

Any ideas why this is?

Had the same issue, solved it by doing the following:

intalling app unsuccessful - unknown error -18 - Android Market Help

No kidding, I was worried it was going to be some long process that required rooting the phone or something. Glad it was simple and literally took only seconds to fix.
