evo phone taking forever to reset after use

Please help. Is there anyway to stop my Evo phone from taking so long to reset itself after doing any function. I have uninstall apps. Deleted text messages and installed apps to fix problem and that hasn't worked. I'm trying to avoid having phone Reset in the store because then I have to reinstall all my apps
