Exceptions for specific contacts.

Is it possible to set up a profile to go completely silent at night except for pre-selected contacts (Mom, Dad, Brother/Sister etc.) for emergency situations?

I have had Tasker set up for a while to go completely silent at night but it would be nice to add these contacts to a mode where the ringer volume is jacked way up and I can freely receive calls and texts from them but no one else.

Does anyone know how to script this functionality?

The wiki has a profile that is supposed to do exactly that:

Basically it puts the phone in silent mode when you go on charger at night.
Upon incoming call of specified numbers, silent mode is switched off. I guess if you have 30 seconds worth of ringing you'll miss the first few seconds but hear the remainder.
