Help Excessive "OS Services" Data Usage - Verizon Note 3 Kitkat

Hi there, so like it says in the title, I'm experiencing some pretty ridiculous data usage by "OS Services." You can take a look at the attached picture for a quick example of what I see each morning as I check my data usage. Since ~October my average monthly mobile data usage for "OS Services" has jumped from ~250mb per month (a bit excessive in itself, I should think) to over 500mb per month, whereas my mobile data usage has been pretty consistent with all my other apps.

Has anyone experienced the same?

Any recommendations on how to limit whatever it is that OS Services is up to? I've turned off most background sync for all of my apps (FB, Twitter, Instagram). I don't have anything Google+.

I'm considering a factory reset at this point...

I know with my device I can click on the Usage details and view the Foreground and Background usage.

Otherwise you might want to check into what Google is syncing in the background, because this could be the issue.
