Here's where I'm at:
I have a Cell South Hero (CDMA) running android 2.1-update 1 with software version 2.44.557.1 If I could find a way to downgrade back to 1.5 I would do that since it makes rooting.flashing much easier.
I rooted the phone with Universal Androot and am using ROM Manager and have CaynogenMod 6 and CrunchySoft downloaded. When I go to install them the phone will reboot like it should, but only goes into the first screen (white with green "htc" written on it) It doesn't do anything after that unless I take the battery out and restart it. At that point it comes back on like normal into 2.1 with no roms installed.
Can anyone tell me what is going wrong with the process and how to fix it?
