Hi
Coastalbest!
The
Sensation ROM 4.1 is based on the Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich, XWLPT release. There should be no problem in installing this on your rooted phone. The ROM comes with
Siyah 4.1.5 already installed. It should be noted though, that no further development has taken place on this ROM for about 3.5 months.
You could, of course, try one of the latest Jelly Bean ROM's, Android 4.1.2, such as
NEAT ROM, if you feel adventurous. However, in the main, these do not have the same UI as Sensation 4.1.
Despite my colleagues assertion about reading, "
All", of the Dummies Guides, I will try and cut down on your reading load a bit...
Rooting Galaxy S2 - Dummies Guide As you are already rooted, this is probably not necessary but it does contain some helpful tips for rooted users.
Siyah kernel - Dummies Guide As the Sensation ROM comes with Siyah 4.1.5 installed, this is probably not needed but, again, it contains some useful tips.
Dorimanx kernel ICS/JB - Dummies Guide This is only needed if you are planning to switch to the Dorimanx kernel.
Modems - Dummies Guide This is only needed if you want to change the modem that the Sensation ROM comes pre-installed with.
Battery Saving - Dummies Guide Always a good bet for increasing your battery life.
I do not quite know why
parag1dubey would want you to read the next 3 Dummies Guides as they do not have any bearing on your ICS ROM as far as I can tell!
