Root Flashing sprint firmware through Emergency Mode?

Two months ago my Optimus V somehow reset itself. I can't get into recovery. ADB doesn't see my phone in recovery or normal boot. The only way to get anything to happen is by going into emergency mode. I was told by AndyOpie that I could flash the Sprint firmware through EM to get it working again. I was wondering if there was a guide for that anywhere?

Other than that, with the new software update that just came out, is there a fixed ROM file that I can flash to my phone to get it unbricked?

Your best bet would be to contact Bigsupersquid over at XDA. He has the mojo you need.

He has the solution. He actually had to flash the S firmware to straighten out his phone. I have convinced him to write up a guide that should work great. His guide just needs a few testers before he posts it.

I'm walking someone threw the guide with teamveiwer right now to see if it works. So far so good.
