Galaxy 5 not auto-updating..

Just noticed my Galaxy 5 is not auto-updating apps. I have it set to auto-update, either on mobile or wi-fi. I have certain apps that I do not update (don't use 'em), but the others have always done what they are supposed to. I just noticed it's been about 4 weeks for updates...the only change I've made is installing a new battery. Would that have any effect on getting updates? I am now manually updating 20 or so, and it seems to be working, though slowly.

Hi, open Play Store and touch the three bars on the top left of the screen, scroll down until you come to Settings and open it, look for Auto Update Apps and check it it is set to Auto Update. Phil

Thanks Phil - it is correct. It was fine up to a couple of weeks ago, would update correctly. The only thing I did was install a new battery -like I said, I can't imagine that would be the cause. The apps are all updated now, so I'll see if it does updates now.

Correct, changing the battery would not cause this, I don't charge my phone I have a spare battery on charge and just change the battery every day, never had your problem. Phil
