Gallery photos not showing

Hi I'm havinga problem retrieving photos from my phone to attach to a message & email. When I compose a text message & click on the camera icon to attach a photo from my gallery, most of my photos have disappeared & all I see is a blackout screen with a white cirl-

How is your memory on your phone and have you rebooted your phone lately? You could be almost out of storage space (memory) and or the phone is out of processing power its RAM (another type of memory). If not try using something other than gallery to select photos from.

Thanks for your advice, I have not done any of your suggestions but will. I will let you know if this solves the problem. Also, I moved all my apps that could be moved to my SD card.

That is a good start. I tend to leave most my apps (that i can) on my sdcard. You should be able to set your phone to store your photos to your sdcard as well.
