Help Google Chrome on my phone

I'm running mean rom and Google chrome seems to be graphically buggy.

There's like visual artefacts when I run it. Thought maybe my phone was messed up but they disaster as soon as I close it. DB HD runs fine.

I've been using Firefox. Pretty fast. Heard it was laggy before the update.

Chrome has artifacts on stock as well. I still use it though. Dolphin is meh and the stock HTC browser is garbage. No tabs? What? I wish the ICS browser was available for the stock Rom, I really liked it on triumph and I'm waiting for the scene to develop a bit before I start using roms again. To be honest, this is the first of the 6 android phones I've owned that I actually feel satisfied with the stock experience on.

No they made it manage to apparently not play nicely with Adreno GPUs as I noticed the same artifacting on the phone.

Firefox was nice(nightlies ARMv7) but I haven't tried it in a while. I really don't use the phone much for browsing as even at the 4.x" size it's a bit small for me and I never cared much for zooming and panning around. (On something like the Note size I'd probably use it alot.... v. borderline usefulness on 4" sized screens, and pretty much useless 3" screens.)

firefox seems to be the only option. the problem with chrome to be universal amongst these phones.

I too have visual disturbances with Chrome, I've always enjoyed using Skyfire myself.

I use the stock browser from time to time but Firefox is my default. It's just so darn fast, even with 3G.

I'm using stock browser as well. Use chrome on my laptop and tablet. The downside of chrome is flash. I have to copy the link to stock browser in order to read the flash webpages.

One of the ROMs comes with the AOSP ICS browser, and that one is my favorite so far.

I'd love to see it working. I just learned about the browser syncing and I really like it. Does the same work on icsbrowser?

i tend to like opera mobile. its been my favorite. i will try out some of the recommendations. that how i found opera in the blackberry days

I tried using Chrome on my phone for a little bit, but it was just a little bit too glitchy for me. I ended up going back to Dolphin, which works just fine for me. Chrome is pretty much all I use on my PC, but no more on the phone, at least for now.
