Help Hard reset...how do you clear the SD card?

I have done a hard reset because I sold the phone. How do you delete anything that might be on the SD card?

I believe formatting the sd card with delete everything on it.

Go into your setting and going to the sd card and you will see format sd card.

Thread moved to the troubleshooting section. I did a quick search and found the answer as shown below.

Here is a post that explains it: http://androidforums.com/desire-support-troubleshooting/235085-format-sd-card.html#post1989360 . Basically, you go into Settings, then Phone and SD Storage, then unmount your microSD card, then format it. Be sure to mount it again after it is done formatting.
