Hello from a new android user

Hello all, I am new to Android. But I did buy my first android phone few weeks back. The phone I have is a Huawei U8230 Android phone.

Besides that I am a Gentoo Linux user and into earthquakes and volcanoes. I come from Iceland.

Sadly the Android phone that I have is faulty. I am going to need a replacement and that phone is not going to be a Android phone, as most phone that are currently sold in Iceland are Android 1.5 phones and that is badly outdated.

The only other Android phone that I have seen on sale here in Iceland is LG GW620, and that doesn't look good.

Sorry for the ramble. I just got a bit annoyed.

I am still going to be around, as am going to learn how to compile my own vanilla version of Android. Just for learning for the time being.
