Help people default ring keep using phone default ringtone

I have the new HTC EVO 4 and I have certain ringtones set for different people, but my phone keeps playing my default ringtone I set for my phone, How do i fix this. Thanks

Where are you storing the ringtone file?

It helps to make a file tree on your card like this

\SDCard
\\Media
\\\Audio
\\\\Notifications <ringtones for notifications such as text/email go in here
\\\\Ringers <Ringers for phone go in here

Also, there's known issues of losing the custom ringtones every time you mount the card as a drive to the computer. If you put the tones in the folders like above, then it doesn't seem to affect it!

When I first got my phone I couldn't connect to my computer, so I down loaded a ring tone app and the ringtones were added to my ringtones. Do I need to remove them and how. Thanks

Even with these instructions, I am unable to have individual ringers. No matter what, it always defaults. :/
