Help help! tried updating to 2.3.5

when i was updating,
i had successfully updated the device but nothing has changed and it is 2.3.3
when i tried to update again it said kies does not support this device et etc.
i then closed it and when on kies and it said that my phone was updated when it wasn't.
please help........

Could be just another 2.3.3 update and not 2.3.5.

how are people getting android 2.3.5/4 then
i know some are using Odin but inst there a better way?

It depends what region you're in / what network you're on for official updates. I know in the UK some networks have updated to 2.3.5 and others haven't...

It is also dependent on what provider your phone is locked to/who's network it was on originally ...
