I can't figure it out ?
Not sure if this will work, but try it and see:
Go to settings>application>market>clear cache.
Thanks, I forgot to mention that I tried that already, it didn't work though.
Apparently it is not possible. Hopefully the future 2.1 update will give us that option.
Wow, that is amazing. How dumb! Thanks for the input
Just don't be searching for porn if your significant other will get mad about it!
Read my mind. Either risk being caught or RUU it.
I read awhile back that if you are rooted there's a file that you can delete. However, I cannot remember what the name of the file was. >.<
Maybe someone else will remember?
If you're rooted, you can delete:
And after a reboot, the file will be rebuilt with and empty 'suggestions' / 'history' cache.
If have read that an application called 'cachemate' may also work, if you are not rooted, but I have never tried / tested to verify.
Supposedly there is an app called HistoryErase by someone named Dumapic but I can't get it to work. Anybody else have any luck?
Just downloaded MarketSearchEraser and it worked awesome.
FINALLY.....after reading all the talk about rooting and of course the dreaded expert's feedback of "clearing cache" in manage application settings!!
Hey.. thanks for the heads up just installed it and works perfectly(in app store). No root necessary.
The only one I could find is MarketHistoryEraser. Downloaded it and it works great.
Thanks alot it works perfect.
Sometimes it's the simplest things that impress the most.
It works for me.
