How do you re-do password to AVG anti-theft

I just got the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and installed the free AVG app. I was setting up the anti-theft option and had to put in a password and then I think it asked it a second time and I must have made an error as was immediately locked from my phone and cannot access any functions as the password I thought I put is apparently incorrect. My phone is now totally inaccessible without the correct password. I would totally appreciate help with this.

Contact AVG. There has to be some way to reset it short of a factory reset.
