How do you see US banned the supply of Chipset to Huawei?

hi all,
reading some articles are saying US government are banning the supply chain of chipset to Huawei.
I was astonished a little bit.
just want to any thoughts or comments on that?
the Huawei Brand video looks that they are trying to use technology to do good to the world.

Huawei makes their own chipsets AFAIK, and isn't dependant on the US. Like the HiSilicon Kirin series of SoC.

I am more concerned about the whole world will be divided into peaces, there will be no longer earth village concept any more.
and maybe we have all passed the best time of the world, the next decade or 2 will be tough for everyone if we have such bias to each other.
