How does this compare to the Tab 3 8.0?

I have a Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and am looking to give that to my wife and get the Pro 8.4 for myself. Has anyone come from a Tab3 to this? How was the change for you?

I ended up picking up a used Tab Pro from Amazon (two days before their sale on them new). Got it running CM11 right away. So far so good.

And my wife loves the Tab 3. She works from home on Wednesdays and as soon as she goes downstairs she takes her moto G with her. I noticed this morning the G is still on my dresser charging and the Tab 3 is gone.

My girlfriend uses my Tab 3 8" to play slot machines all day, so I got a Tab Pro 10.1 from PC World £199 and flashed CM 12.1 (Android 5.1.1) to it. It's obviously bigger and heavier but you get used to it.
