How to change Android calendar to Google Apps?

All my calendar items entered via Android are in the phone calendar, colored in black on the phone, and are not syncing to Google Apps. I need to change the default calendar in the phone to Google Apps and edit the phone calendar entries. How do I do this?

Hi,
assuming you use Google Calendar (many OEMs install some own crap instead of it), if not, download it from Play (search for "Google Calendar").
Start Calendar, in Settings/Setings you can add Google account, under Settings/Setting/account@gmail.com you can choose the account to synchronize.
You can see the same settings in Settings/Calendars to show (or similar), Calendars to synchronize

On my last phone, to ensure that I could only update the correct calendar, I also removed all the other calendar accounts.

What phone do you have? Using the default calendar in Touchwiz (Samsung) differs from the default calendar in Sense (HTC), as well as other OEM customized calendar apps. Or, you could simply download Google Calendar.
