Help How to change the i7500 Wallpaper

I've a new wallpaper on my PC, which I like to use on my i7500.

Does anyone knows how to set this new wallpaper on the i7500?

I've the adb tool to communicate with the device.

The adb tool is way overkill except for the most advanced needs.

To change your wallpaper, long-press any free area on your desktop, and you'll get a menu including options to add widgets and folders -- and also to set a wallpaper.

This has already been covered in another thread. Using the above mentioned method causes your wallpaper to be recompressed and saved even if the res is the same as the screen's.

The only way to use a wallpaper as-is without recompressing is to use a program like wallpaper set and save. There are other programs out there that does the same thing.
