How to unroot samsung epic 4g

Hi Everyone,
I bought this phone off ebay some time ago. Well, it started acting up and I took it to Sprint. The guy said he could not fix it because it was rooted. Huh? Well I found out what that means but I don't know how to unroot it and restore back to factory settings. I don't know anything. Lookd on you tube and I don't know anything about odin or whatever that is. Can someone give me real basic instrutions on how I can get this phone back to factory settings. It has really stared acting up. HELP!!!!!!!
