Now I am confused because on this list it shows software for the Thunderbolt that can be downloaded?

HTC Thunderbolt -2.6.32 kernel source code

    http://developer.htc.com/

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks,
    Bryan

That's the froyo source code. Notice next to the Inc S and EVO 4g it says GB, that's because it's the gingerbread SC.

Aren't both the Inc S and EVO 4g on GB currently, if so then we still have hope that when the bolt gets the upgrade to GB we may get the source at some point.

Also wouldn't the release of these codes help the rom developers for the bolt as well, between the buggy GB leak and adapting code from other phones isn't that how most roms come together?

Yes, it would obviously help. Right now the GB sense Kernels Imoseyon and others have released are done without any TB code. It's basically is back ported from other devices. AFAIK the AOSP kernels are much easier to work on because the CM source code is available. That's one of the reasons why you'll notice more AOSP kernels than sense

Yet many more sense roms than AOSP

Haha, I know, right. You don't need a source code to make a ROM, though.
