I am a very newbie in android's things

Dear friends,
Any suggestion for me as a beginner...what type of phone which is suitable for me.
Just want to learn about Android.
Formerly using blackberry and now it comes to mind about trying this new things.

If you're coming from anything but a storm you may want an android phone with a full qwerty which in the US are

Motorola Cliq (Tmobile)
Droid (Verizon)
Samsung Moment (Sprint)

just like with fruit there's an app for that in the android market and a lot of them are free.

If you can boil down your "must have's" in a phone, how soon you want your phone (ie. can you wait 6 months?), and if you need a specific network... all of these points will get your answer for you.

What do you like about your Blackberry? What does your Blackberry not do, that you want a cell phone to do.

I do agree that a keyboard can make or break a cell phone for some. I have a myTouch 3G and I can use the keyboard just fine. But, I do not punch our emails all day with my Android phone.
