Help Improve notifications

Hello everyone.
Would you be able to recommend any ways to improve push notifications on Android? I have the s6 and have been experiencing issues Esp with Twitter.

I use TweetCaster, a 3rd party app, and Push Notifications are configured in Settings.

See if the following helps.

Settings > Sounds and Notifications > Notifications/App Notications > TweetCaster (Pro) > Set As Priority

... and turn the switch on. BTW, TweetCaster (I have the Pro version) is a great app. I just hope the new Twitter APIs not doubt forthcoming don't screw up this third-party app.
