This has been mentioned on other forums, but I haven't really found an answer. Has anyone here noticed that the haptic feedback on their droid is inconsistent? Not that different keys/inputs have different feedback levels (which is obviously intentional), but that occasionally and seemingly for no reason a key like "return," "home," or even an on-screen numeric key will have an unusually powerful vibrate?

I always chalked it up to a process that was getting stuck while running, hereby not allowing it to terminate the vibrate process properly, hence the 'extended' vibrate.

It happens to everyone. The most common term used to describe the behavior is "Angry feedback".

I don't think anyone knows why. It's just one of those mysteries of life.

Whenever I get the "Angry feedback" I always imagine my Droid is thinking really hard and is getting pissed at me for bothering it. ha.

Its not called "Angry Feedback", I call it "Hectic Feedback". It fits the bill a little more, and sounds more like its original name.

Mt first droid had this issue constantly. My replacment droid has perfect haptic feedback. however, it is missing an alt key
