Root [International] Please help! LG G2 bricked. Tried everything!

OK you have the device in fastboot just flash the proper twrp for your device or as I asked where or what firmware you was on EUR or USA .you can do a unbrick or flash the proper twrp for your device
 
Did u get any directions with the install of the flashtool or DLL . some DLL needs to be activated before you start .
 
If you got to that try and use the lg site to see if you can get the update recovery . cause it sounds like either the wrong model . cause the DLL should not need to update . now I can give you the instruction on how to use the tool but I need to know if your windows 7 or 8
 
I was working on it until 3 am with linux. Flashing data... Well in the end one of the guys who helped me asked me if im sure that it is the D802 and I was since I ordered that one. Well way wanted me to check the back of the phone and it turned out that is is the ls980. I got defraudet. I spent 10 hours fixing the wrong phone.

Thanks for your help though. I sent it back to Amazon and get the right model!

Hope you get it fixed! Via Linux through vm workstation it worked pretty well if that helps you! I got all the data flashed just for the wrong phone. So when you do that it should work again. But first check in the back of your phone on the bottom what modell number is standing there. Maybe you have the same problem!

Sorry to hear the bad news but at least it's behind you now. Good luck with your ACTUAL D802 when you get it. And hope to see you around the forums...not for any more problems though. ;)
 
I was never really active in Forums but sure why not :) Nice people here thats for sure! It was such a fraud. You know on the phone box is the serial number. And in the box is a peace of board the phone is laying on with the serial number on it again. Well the two serial numbers are different. Maybe non of them are the real ones. Makes me so angry dat shit. Whatever.. Thanks guys see you around
 
Glad you got to the bottom . but your still not out just send back demand for a full refund and purchase the d802 u been feeling . I know some devices are a pain 2times OK but if a third falls u need to check what your dealing with . welcome to the forums and feel free to ask about anything if we Dont know someone will guide you to home plate . :D:thumbup::rolleyes:
 
Thanks dude. Just sent amazon a rule violation report. Get my money back soon. Already found the new I buy. This time hopefully a better seller. And actually the D802 unlocked. But I have kind of enough of flashing for now. Probably leave it in Stock. Im paranoid to get such a problem again! Probably stupid but well. Hahaha.
 
You can flash just keep in mind you was fooled with a different . so that say you did follow the directions cause u can't get device to work . so Dont let one mistake get you down . and think this wasn't hour fault . a person pushing a fast money scam. And now you got plus 2 and they got negative 2 you winning cause u have help to show you they lost and had no help . now you laughing cause they get the broken junk and u move to the real and score for a positive 3 . keep your head up things always have a bright ending when you do positive things. If you need the proof just ask the clown that sold the fake device ....:eek::D
 
Hahahah right! Actually not i could fix the phone. I could flash the ls980 images. but no. Not worth. Its so much work. Took me forever to flash the d802 images. All manually. But I can definitely reccomend Vm Workstation now. Ubuntu with just 1gb given ram runs perfectly smooth it was awesome and fun to work with! THanks for your little motivational speech! I guess I will go to cm10.02. Is cm11 stable enough yet? I definitely want a good battery time. And does the camera quality suffer going to custom rom instead of stock?
 
I am still having an issue. Looking at the error it says Model: VS980

Is this because I put on a Verison ROM by accident?

So yeah its showing up a a vzw variant. Can we assume you still can't boot into recovery from a powered off state?
 
I'm trying to think of any drawbacks here...not sure if there are any...I think I might try to use the factory reset option. One of two things will happen. Either it'll bring you into TWRP recovery (if you didn't lose that from earlier actions), or it will indeed factory reset in which case that might be helpful in this situation.
