internet through orange dongle

Got thrown into deal a orange dongle , can I use usb cable and usedongle for internet access when out and about at work ?

Use the dongle for internet on your phone? I don't think so. Unless someone can prove me wrong!

You can use the phone instead of a dongle to get mobile broadband on your laptop ("tethering"), but not the other way around.

Just to note, that on all my windows mobile phones, I could use internet both ways, from phone or via computer. I have a 3 Dongle and have used it in the past to provide data to the phone via the laptop for downloading some programs onto phone as it was cheaper. There may be an android app to do the same.
