Intro to Android...

First of all I am happy to say that I am now officially a DROID. After years of being a Blackberry user I made the switch to the android community with the HTC Evo 3d. So far I cannot put my device down. Have been looking into the positives and negatives of the "Infamous Root" idea. But for now trying to get down the basics of being a user. Thanks for having me and I am happy to say Om glad to be here.

Great device by all accounts. My advice would be to root, but it's important you read the pros and cons about it before you do. Head over to the Evo 3D subforum and I'm sure they'll be able to help you make your decision.

Thanks for joining our ranks. I hope you enjoy your new Evo. I've owned an android device for over a year and have never rooted my phone. It's something I can do which I admire about the OS. Thanks for taking the time to say hello and I hope you enjoy your time here on the Android Forums.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am definitely interested in rooting. I just dont wanna mess it up. I definitely feel like it would be worth it so I am reading into it to make sure I do it right. Only issue as of now is that I have a Mac. But other than that, I'M ALL IN.
