Well, others are running this update and so far, the positives are, private apps show up on the Market now.

Other than that, have not seen much else... yet...

Oh, I agree, I was just stating what I heard. Not too much out there about FRF83.

Now, some FRF72 users are reporting the OTA for FRF72 to FRF83 is rolling out as well.

Just waiting for the link to get posted. :D

I was going to try and downgrade to FRF50 and then do the update manually, but I figured that I would either get FRF83, or someone would post the link to FRF72 to FRF83 eventually.

    root? did you see this?

Stock Nexus One and want Android 2.2 without having to root
Download File One, and File Two
Follow these instructions for EACH update
    Remember Build order, 1) Stock 2.1 update 1- ERE27 2) Froyo 1-FRF50 3) Froyo latest- FRF83

Give the mod makers some time to do their stuff. If your not rooted and can do it now then by all means go ahead but for the rest of us that are rooted and presumably on FRF72, just hang tight. Now we know for sure that our "JUST DESSERTS" are really close to being served. :D:D

*sigh* I bet when Google does the OTA update...AT&T Nexus Ones will only get the update after Tmo's N1s get theirs first :(
