I was wondering people moan about being on 1.6 which I can understand ,but is there any body on 1.2 say

There are still devices on 1.5. The Motorola Backflip is one of them. I believe the Dell Aero is also on 1.5.

Do you really feel better that the X10 is on 0.1 higher than the Aero which is one of the worst Android phones to be released and the backflip is on 2.1 now so that leaves the Aero which from what I can tell was at&t only so well locked down.

I feel worse after reading google to find out about the Aero and Backflip

That may only seem like a .1 release but the number of things it enables is far greater. Besides, 2.1 will be release in a month, no big deal.

The Backflip is not on 2.1 yet either, not sure where you got that info.

Doing this on my phone so not sure if it will hyper link...

Anyway follow the link and look for interface and it says its upgradeable to 2.1 and that is where I got out from.

It IS upgradeable (so is the X10) but it has not been upgraded yet. It has been out longer than the X10 and it's still on 1.5. I am pretty sure the upgrade is imminent though (just like the X10, lol).

Do realize that 1.5 doesn't even have Google Navigation, just maps.

Everyone that is moaning should really try the LG Eve GW620.... thats on 1.5, confirmed never to be upgraded and is the biggest piece of rubbish going. Son has one, festering on window ledge whilst he uses my old Sony C902 until his contract runs out in 16 months time or maybe Father Christmas is very kind!! So quite frankly the X10 is a wonder machine in comparison.

Pretty much Motorola Backflip, Cliq Owners, Sprint hero/Droid Eris customers are worse off then X10 owners
